This digital manual is provided as an educational resource and introduction to handling, storing and selling organic products in Canada. It was developed by the Canada Organic Trade Association in consultation with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, with members of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s Canada Organic Office, and representatives of the national and regional organic and retail sectors.The protocols outlined in this manual provide information and guidance useful to retailers handling organic products in store.
