At the Canada Organic Trade Association (COTA), we're dedicated to advancing organic agriculture and manufacturing across Canada. Your support allows us to advocate for policies that protect organic standards, create long-term positive change for businesses like yours, and promote consumer awareness about the benefits of organic products.
This year’s campaign goal is to raise $80,000 to launch a national awareness campaign about Canada’s Organic Action Plan, highlighting the benefits of organic farming and supporting organic farmers and manufacturers in transitioning to sustainable practices.
The funds will be used to:

Develop educational resources and materials to promote simple messaging to increase consumer awareness about organic products;

Provide training and build partnerships between retailers and the organic business community;

Advocate for policies that support organic agriculture and protect organic standards at the national level.
